We are a laid-back family that recently moved from Austin, Texas. There are three of us in the house, and we have two pets (a cat and a dog). We reside on Lake Pewaukee and enjoy lake time, exploring new places, beer gardens, traveling, attending sporting events, going to the theater, and getting out to festivals.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a family assistant to help us keep the home running smoothly. The role is dynamic and includes hanging out with a cool 10-year-old, household duties, party planning and execution, shopping, and occasional travel with the family. Responsibilities:

Childcare:

• Pick up/drop off our son from school, activities, and friends as needed.
• Assist with schoolwork, music lessons, and other tasks.
• Stay with our son on date nights.
• Occasional overnights when we’re traveling.

Home Organization/Maintenance:

• Proactively identify and resolve household tasks and coordinate with contractors when necessary.
• Perform some household duties such as laundry, dishes, organization, and general home duties. We also have a cleaning company that comes every week.
• Assist with pet care.
• Shopping for groceries, home items, and gifts.
• Manage returns and donations.
• Decorating for holidays.
• Run errands.

Travel and Entertaining:

• Assist in planning and executing friends/family visits, dinner parties, and special events.
• Help plan vacations, including activities, food planning, and reservations.
• Occasionally accompany the family on vacation.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
